An amateur detective named Spike is the main character of the first course of our Mysteries Stage.
Mystery in Looet. The once-in-a-lifetime school trip to the Caribbean island of Looet is a dream come true for the students of four different secondary schools. However, somebody makes sure that one of them misses out on the holiday. Will Spike be able to bring the culprit to justice?
Missing in Letchworth. Back in his hometown, Spike finds himself immersed in another mystery. When a friend doesn’t show up for school, everyone is ready to assume the worst. Will Spike be able to solve the clues before it’s too late?
To consolidate language level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR), and to start the B2 level. This course includes a variety of multi-word verbs and phrases that can be used in different contexts so that the students are able to incorporate them into their own repertoire.
